Preparing to sell your phone

Are you considering selling your smart phone/mobile phone? I know a few people who have done just that as part of the process of buying a new phone. Since we keep so much private and confidential information on these devices now, running our entire lives from one small box, making sure that that information is removed from the phone before you sell it is an important step.

Lifehacker has a great post to visit: How Do I Securely Erase My Phone Before I Sell It? Includes removing the SIM card and your SD card, and instructions on wiping the data. Also, don’t forget to deactivate your device with your cell phone carrier.
